Two Petropavlovsk directors up their stakes

The chairman and chief executive of Russia-focused FTSE 250 miner Petropavlovsk each topped up their stakes in the firm after VMHY Holdings - a company in which they together have a 50% holding - bought shares.As a result of the transaction, they each received 105,000 ordinary shares (representing 0.05% of the issued share capital) in Petropavlovsk at a price of 743.89p per share, resulting in purchases worth £781,084 each.Chairman Peter Hambro now holds over 8.67m shares equal to a 4.61% stake, while Pavel Maslovskiy, the company's chief executive, upped his stake to 7.93%.
