Totally secures NHS 111 contract extension

(Sharecast News) - Healthcare services provider Totally's urgent care division has been awarded a contract extension to NHS 111 services across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent for a further year.
Totally said on Wednesday that the contract extension, awarded to its Vocare subsidiary, will run from 1 April at a value of roughly £7.0m.
The AIM-listed firm highlighted that Vocare was "a long-standing partner" for the provision of NHS 111 services in the region, answering around 30,000 calls per month and stated its experience in providing "quality, resilient and responsive services" was "critical" to meeting current high levels of demand and pressures.
As of 1005 GMT, Totally shares were up 1.68% at 33.81p.
