Templeton Emerging Markets names new lead portfolio manager

(ShareCast News) - Investment group Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust has appointed Carlos Hardenberg as lead portfolio manager.The FTSE 250 group said Hardenberg, the company's current vice-president and managing director, will work alongside the company's executive chairman Mark Mobius."The Templeton Emerging Markets Group routinely reviews portfolio management assignments and makes changes based on what we believe is in the best interests of our clients," said Mobius."The group and I also continuously evaluate how to bring out the best from our investment talent."Templeton shares were 0.18% up to 504.40p at 08:42 on Monday.
