(Sharecast News) - James Cropper confirmed on Friday that James Gravestock, its managing director for technical fibres and future energy, would step down from its board and leave the company on 31 January.

The AIM-traded firm said the move followed the completion of an interim handover of his responsibilities to chief executive officer Steve Adams and other members of its executive leadership.

It said it had initiated a process to select a permanent successor for Gravestock, with further updates to be provided in due course.

At 1421 GMT, shares in James Cropper were up 3.23% at 800p.
