Shares in GB Group were the best performers in TechMARK after the identification services provider said that its full year profits will be better than expected. Underlying profits for the year to March 2010 are expected to fall from £1.8m to £1.3m, but this is still much better than the £800,000 profit originally expected. Like-for-like revenues are expected to decline from £23.5m to £22.2m.The identity management market showed signs of improvement in the fourth quarter. Cost control helped to improve margins. Net cash was £5.3m at the end of March 2010. The full year figures will be published in late May. Set-top box manufacturer Pace says that it expects to meet market expectations but it warns that average selling prices have declined. The World Cup should help to make the first half of 2010 stronger than the second half. Some of the matches will be filmed in 3D. Analysts have not changed their 2010 forecasts. KBC Peel Hunt forecasts a profit of £88.9m, up from £76.5m.
