Shares in Asterand have jumped today on the back of two trades. The human tissue supplier has not made an announcement for more than two months. The rise in the share price appears to have been due to a widening of the bid/offer spread rather than any real share price movement. When 13,792 shares were purchased the bid/offer spread was 16p/19p but, more than two hours later, when 10,000 shares were sold the bid/offer spread was 16p/28p. COBOL software supplier Micro Focus has regained a small part of yesterday's loss after its profit warning. Artemis has increased its stake to by 1.5m shares taking it to 5.47%. Antisoma has fallen back even though ORA has announced that it increased its stake in the drug developer to 17%. Yesterday market maker Canaccord Genuity bought 67,989 shares at 2.48p and sold 222,178 at 2.62p.
