South Africa-based IT services provider Dimension Data increased its first half profits by 9% to £71.71m. The reported revenue in the six months to March 2010 grew 11% to $2.17bn. Revenue, in constant currency terms, declined by 3.7%. JPMorgan Cazenove is positive about the company because of its increased confidence for the second half. Software firm Micro Focus International released a pre-close trading statement that was slightly better than some analysts were expecting but the share price has fallen. Like-for-like revenue growth was around 5% in the year to April 2010. The actual growth in revenues was from $274.7m to $432m. Year-end net debt was $68m. Panmure Gordon, KBC Peel Hunt and Singer are all buyers of the shares. They expect profits to be around $153m-$156m in 2009-10.Full year figures will be reported on 24 June.
