Shares in Solgold glittered after the gold and copper explorer said it had made a potentially large gold find at a project in Ecuador.The stock rose 0.88p or nearly a tenth to 10.12p in early afternoon trading in London after Solgold said results of drilling at its Cascabel scheme in northern Ecuador had indicated the discovery of "a large high grade copper-gold porphyry system."Copper and gold grades found in hole CSD-13-005 increased with depth and drilling of the hole, which was suspended last month to allow delivery of extra drilling kit, will be resumed in the last week of January.SolGold Chief Executive and Managing Director, Alan Martin said the results showed a potential large-tonnage, high grade copper-gold system."The results from hole five are the most exciting from our stage one drill programme which began in early September last year," he said.PW
