Gold miner Medusa Mining announced a doubling of the probable reserves estimate at its Co-O Mine in the Philippines.The probable reserve now stands at 1,041,000 tonnes at 14.9g/t gold containing 500,000 ounces of gold, an increase of 101% or 251,000 ounces from an estimate of 249,000 ounces at 10.8g/t gold announced in August.Specialist printing group Printing.com said trading has remained broadly steady since the last update, with promotions continuing to play a greater part in the sales mix than in previous years. Asset management and financial advisory group Brooks Macdonald said it has traded ahead of expectations in recent months and that results for the year to 30 June should be ahead of expectations.Irish procurement, sales, marketing, distribution and business support services group DCC said earnings for the year to March 31 should be 'modestly behind to broadly in line with last year.'Security glass group Pentagon Protection and Eruma have won a £60,000 contract with one of the top five retail banks, which was not named. This installation is the first major contract award won by Pentagon and Eruma since the recently announced formation of its business alliance.Stockbroker Walker Crips reports signs of an improvement in trading conditions during past three months and its performance over the quarter to June was comfortably in line with the board's expectations.Revenue in the three months to June was £3.96m , up by 3% compared with the £3.85m achieved in the previous quarter but down 9% over the same quarter last year. This quarter on quarter increase in revenue is reflective of the improved trading conditions witnessed during the last few months. Non-broking revenue expressed as a percentage of total income improved to 51.9% during the quarter.Superglass Holdings said trading in the period from 1 March to date continues to be broadly in line with management expectations. The group also announced the appointment of Alex McLeod as chief executive with effect from 1 November. He will replace John Smellie, who will retire from the on 31 December.
