PC World and Currys owner Dixons Retail has seen its share price drop by almost a fifth, dragging the general retailing sector lower.The group's full-year profits will be down from last year, as consumer confidence in Britain and elsewhere continues to deteriorate, the electrical retailer said. Antique furniture and art dealer Mallett reduced losses in 2010 as it continued to focus on costs. That wasn't even to reassure investors who took profits, sending the share price down over 6%.Also lower is tile and wood flooring retailer Topps Tiles after sales growth slowed during the latter stages of the first half.
