(Sharecast News) - Budget airline Ryanair reported record passenger numbers for July on Wednesday.

Traffic rose 7% from the same month a year earlier to 22.2m, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was steady at 96%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 5% to 213.2m and the load factor was unchanged at 94%.

Ryanair operated over 120,800 flights in July.
