The doors of engine developer Rolls-Royce's newly expanded and modernised marine service centre in the port of Rotterdam are now open for business.The facility, originally opened in 2001, has undergone a major expansion programme, including a doubling of maintenance workshop space to 1,500 square metres and the modernisation of equipment used in the servicing marine products. Thee facility employs 70 people, up from 20 just two years ago. In addition to the management of servicing and maintenance throughout Europe, the facility is also a regional centre for marketing and sales of the extensive range of Rolls-Royce marine products.
