Rolls-Royce, the UK based engine manufacturer has won a $250m contract with China Southern Airlines.The deal will see Rolls-Royce providing engines to power 30 Airbus A320 aircraft in addition to a long term maintenance programme.The news comes on the same day as the opening of the Le Bourget International Air Show in Paris so it will come as no surprise that this is just one of several contracts Rolls Royce have announced since this morning.The others include a $2.2bn engine provision agreement with TAM Airlines of Brazil, a contract to become the exclusive engine provider for an enhanced version of the Airbus A350-1000, and a $60m deal to supply engines for six Gulf Air Airbus 321s.BS
