Royal Bank of Scotland said on Friday that the recent technical issues experienced by some of its customers in relation to delayed credits and debits have now been resolved and accounts have been updated."We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and distress that this has caused our customers," said the bank."We will continue our work to make sure that no customer will be left out of pocket as a result of this issue," it added.Earlier this week, a technical glitch at RBS meant that customers were unable to receive payments including disability allowance and tax credits, with some 600,000 transactions affected its NatWest, Ulster Bank and Coutts banks. The bank was hit by a similar technical problem in 2012, when a software issue left millions of customers unable to access accounts, resulting in RBS being fined £56m by regulators.
