Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed Leigh Bartlett as chief financial officer of Williams & Glyn, the company that is being created from the sale of around 300 RBS branches and other business banking elements.Bartlett, who spent four years as CFO of Westpac New Zealand, will join Williams & Glyn on 1 September."I'm delighted to welcome Leigh to the Williams & Glyn team. He brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience, from both here and abroad," said RBS chief administrative officer, Simon McNamara."He will play a key role as we move towards the launch of Williams & Glyn next year."RBS shares were up 1.21% to 367.00 at 11:03 on Thursday.
