PV Crystalox Solar CFO to retire on May 31st

Silicon materials group Crystalox Solar has announced its Chief Financial Officer of seven years, Dr. Peter Finnegan, will step down from his post and from the board on May 31st 2014.He is to be replaced by Group Secretary Matthew Wethey.Dr. Finnegan will make himself available to the company to ensure a smooth transition. Wethey is a chartered accountant and has 20 years' business experience. He played a key role in developing the group's corporate governance and administrative procedures.At his previous post, he liaised extensively with his predecessor on all investor and shareholder relations matters.In his farewell Finnegan said, "now that the Board has steered the Group through the extremely challenging period in the past few years and the Group is now on a sound financial footing, I feel it is the appropriate time to stand down and pursue other interests."As of 09:15 the share price had risen 0.63% to 25p.WS
