(ShareCast News) - Playtech is now a step closer to its £459.6m acquisition of troubled contracts-for-difference provider Plus500 after its shareholders unanimously approved the merger.Plus500 said on Wednesday that the merger is expected to complete no later than 30 September and further updates will be made in due course.The company had to halt trading in its shares in May following sharp declines in the price, after it suspended thousands of accounts while it carried out anti-money laundering checks.At 1353 BST, Playtech shares were down 0.3% at 918.50p.
