(Sharecast News) - Patisserie Holdings said on Wednesday that the winding-up petition against its main trading subsidiary, Stonebeach, has been dismissed by the High Court of Justice, Business and Property Courts. The owner of Patisserie Valerie and Baker and Spice said earlier this month that it had received a winding-up petition for Stonebeach for £1.14m in tax owed to HMRC. This followed earlier news of a multi-million black hole in the company's accounts. The group also put out a separate statement responding to media reports that two of its directors, chief executive Paul May and finance director Chris Marsh, have been issued twice as many share options as it disclosed in its most recent annual accounts."The company, as part of the ongoing investigation, is seeking to understand why the grant of options relating to 2015 and 2016 have not been appropriately disclosed and accounted for in its financial statements," it said.Patisserie announced earlier this month that chairman Luke Johnson would provide the company with loans of £20m as it raised another £15m through an equity placing in order to stay afloat.
