(Sharecast News) - OPG Power Ventures updated the market on its Chennai plant on Monday, having previously confirmed that the 180 MW 'unit IV' was shut down while turbine repairs were undertaken.The AIM-traded firm reported that the repair works, which were performed under the supervision of the turbine manufacturer, were now completed.It said unit IV re-started operations on 5 March."Despite the temporary interruption of operations at unit IV, we expect to meet market profit expectations for our final results for the year to 31 March," said OPG Power Ventures executive chairman Arvind Gupta."We are confident of maintaining strong operational performance in the 2020 financial year."
