Northgate names new finance director

Northgate, the light commercial vehicle hire specialist, has promoted Chris Muir, its UK finance director, to the position of group finance director. "Chris has been selected following an extensive search process involving internal and external candidates," said Bob Contreras, Northgate's chief executive."He has an extensive working knowledge of the business and has worked for Northgate in a wide range of finance positions demonstrating that he has the capability to be an outstanding finance director," Contreras added. Muir originally joined Northgate in 2003 and has been UK finance director since May 2006. ---jh
