MySale Group buys three Australian online retail sites

(ShareCast News) - MySale Group has struck a deal to buy three online retail websites from Grays eCommerce Group in Australia, the company said on Thursday.The AIM-isted company said it had bought OO.com.au, dealsdirect.com.au and topbuy.com.au for AU$5.2m (£2.4m). The deal includes the domain, customer databases, intellectual property, trademarks and goodwill.Combined, the three websites have an average of 3.1m visits per month and an email database of 6.5m customers.MySale Group chief executive Carl Jackson said the deal is a great opportunity to expand the company's customer base in Australia."[It] fits with our strategy of widening our online proposition to leverage our existing assets," he said."The sites being acquired are all well-recognised brands in their own right, with a female weighted customer base. There is very little overlap with our existing member base so there is also a good opportunity to cross sell our core fashion offering. ''The acquisition is expected to be completed on 31 January 2016.
