MITIE wins contract with Mitchells & Butlers

Strategic outsourcing company MITIE has won a 38m pound waste management and cleaning contract with Mitchells & Butlers.The three-year contract will build on MITIE's existing relationship with the operator of restaurants and pubs in the UK.MITI will provide recycling and environmental services at 1,600 restaurants and pubs all over the UK.The company will also deliver cleaning at 650 establishments, standardising service levels across the estate."We are delighted to be working with Mitchells & Butlers, and building on our strong relationship to provide them with our world-class environmental services," said Managing Director Martyn Freeman. Mitchells & Butlers owns Harvester, Toby Carvery, All Bar One, O'Neills's, Nicholson's, Miller & Carter, Browns and Vintage Inns.Shares in MITIE fell 0.30% to 295p at 09:34 on Tuesday.RD
