Support services group Mitie expects revenue growth this year will be in the mid single-digit range, with stronger growth in the second half of the year reflecting the benefit of contracts and project work. That forecast, for the financial year to March 2010, excludes the impact of the acquisition of DTFM. Revenue for the first half of the year is expected to be marginally ahead of the prior year, before the impact of the acquisition of DTFM in August 2009, the statement said.Earnings continue to develop in line with the board's expectations, it added. Facilities Management saw strong growth in the first half of the year but the Asset Management and Property Management divisions faced 'challenging conditions', particularly in the areas of new build housing and interior fit-out, though activity may be picking up in some areas, Mitie said.
