(Sharecast News) - Mobile location data specialist Location Sciences has agreed a 12-month contract with Vicinity Media, Africa's first premium location-based ad network.

The partnership between the two firms will see Vicinity carry out an independent audit of data collected by Verify, Location Sciences' proprietary location verification platform.

The AIM-listed group opted to strike the deal with Vicinity after analysis of over 20 campaigns between March and July revealed that Vicinity Media's clients were benefitting from near-perfect scores on quality and accuracy.

In order to maintain its "high standard" and provide "full transparency", Verify will now be "always-on" for Vicinity Media's clients.



As of 1015 BST, Location Sciences shares had picked up 0.86% to 2.92p.
