Lighthouse Group signs affinity partnership deal with GFTU

(ShareCast News) - Financial adviser Lighthouse Group has signed a deal with the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) to be the preferred provider of expert financial advice to its members.The AIM-listed company announced the deal on Thursday, and said the contract will run for two years from 16 November 2015.The GFTU is the federation for specialist trade unions and sections of larger, general unions.The deal extends a growing list of affinity partnerships including major employee organisations such as UNISON, usdaw, Unite, BA Clubs, Prospect, Parliament Hill and the Royal College of Nursing.Chief executive Malcolm Streatfield said: "We look forward to developing our relationship over the coming years and working closely with GFTU affiliate members to assist them with their financial planning requirements."
