(Sharecast News) - Games Workshop announced on Thursday that its staff are set to receive a nice Christmas bonus, as it said trading since its last update in September has been in line with expectations.

In a brief update, the miniature wargames manufacturer said that for the six months to 26 November, it expects core revenue of not less than £235m, up from £212.3m in the same period a year earlier, while core profit was estimated at not less than £82m, up from £70.7m.

However, licensing revenue was seen at around £12m, down from £14.3m, with core operating profit falling to £11m from £12.9m.

Games Workshop said it expects pre-tax profit of no less than £94m, compared with £83.6m a year earlier.

Under its profit share scheme, the company will pay £2,500 in cash to each employee in December for their contribution to its performance.
