Games Workshop sees profits ahead

Model and war game retailer Games Workshop said full-year pre-tax profits are likely to be ahead of current expectations.The group said its performance in the second half of the year to date has been somewhat better than the board's expectations, with regard in particular to the gross margin and the continuing firm control of costs.Final results for the year ending 30 May 2010 will be announced in late July 2010.
