FTSE 250 movers: Greggs slides; Hilton jumps

Greggs was knocked lower by a downgrade to 'sector perform' from 'outperform' at RBC Capital Markets following first-half results.

Food packaging business Hilton Food said on Friday that it has agreed to sell Dalco Food, its Netherlands‑based vegan and vegetarian business, to Livekindly Production for £5.4m, as it continues to streamline operations and refocus on its core meat and fresh prepared food divisions.

Taylor Wimpey fell as the housebuilder trimmed its forecast for annual home completions, reported a decline in first-half profit and completions, and said it was reducing shareholder returns due to a more prolonged than expected downturn in the housing market.

Rightmove lowered its full-year revenue growth guidance on Friday after continued weakness in the UK new-build housing market overshadowed a solid first-half performance.
