FTSE 100 movers: ITV jumps on advertising speculation, broker comment

ITV's share price was rising strongly following reports that it could benefit from a move by US media giant Omnicom to halt further spend on advertising with broadcasting peer Channel 5.Also pushing it higher was Goldman Sachs, which reiterated its 'buy' rating on the broadcaster and cut its target price from 240p to 235p. London Stock Exchange was on the up after Espirito Santo increased its target price from 1,991p to 2,303p, keeping a 'buy' recommendation.Also rising was British drugs maker AstraZeneca, which has signed a licence agreement with AIM-listed Synairgen for the development of SNG000l, a treatment for respiratory tract viral infections in patients with severe asthma.BG Group climbed despite Nomura downgrading the stock to 'neutral'. Meanwhile, miners were among the worst performers in today's session, with Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Glencore falling sharply. Anglo was the hardest hit after its rating was cut from 'equal weight' to 'underweight' at Morgan Stanley.Tesco was in the red after Goldman Sachs cut its target price from 270p to 250p and reiterated a 'sell' recommendation on the supermarket.
