Chris Houghton, the Finance Director at Telecom Plus, is to leave the company later this year to "pursue new challenges".The company, which trades as Utility Warehouse, sad that he will continues in his executive board role until October 3rd to help with an orderly handover of responsibilities.Houghton joined the firm in September 2008 and was made Finance Director in February 2009. He is said to have played an "important role as a member of our senior management team during a period of significant growth", in which the company entered the FTSE 250 and revenues, profits and dividends all more than doubled.Telecom Plus also said that he helped the firm complete a fund raising last year to do with its acquisition from npower."I would like to thank Chris for the real contribution he has made to the success of Telecom Plus over the last six years," said Chief Executive Andrew Lindsay. "I have hugely valued his unwavering support and, on behalf of the Board, wish him well in his future career."The company has started its search for a new Chief Financial Officer.BC
