Soap maker PZ Cussons has named former Aviva boss Richard Harvey as its replacement for outgoing chairman Anthony Green.Harvey, who became chief executive of insurer Norwich Union in 1998, joins the board as a non-executive director on 1 January and will take on the chairman's role on 1 July.He was eventually head of Aviva following a re-branding exercise, initiated by Havey, when Norwich Union merged with CGU to become CGNU. Following his retirement from Aviva in 2007 he spent time on charity work in Africa and at the World Bank.Green, a board member for almost 20 years and executive chairman since 1993, retires at the end of June.Deputy chairman Graham Calder retires three months before Green. He became finance director in 1998 and deputy chairman in 2006.
