(Sharecast News) - Data processing solutions group Ethernity Networks has signed a contract with Hong Kong Techtronics to manage the distribution of its 100Gbps ACE-NIC100 FPGA SmartNIC hardware throughout the Chinese market.
Ethernity said on Monday that the new relationship would streamline delivery of ACE-NIC100 units to China, where it has seen "a significant uptick" in engagements with telecom operators and system integrators in recent months.

The AIM-listed group added that by using a regional distributor, it would also benefit from expedited cash flow from order placements and Techtronics' local technical support resources.

Chief executive David Levi said: "We are pleased to contract with Techtronics to further ease our entry into the Chinese networking hardware market.

"We are confident that Techtronics will advance our position to its many Chinese telecom customers, and that the relationship will be mutually beneficial."

As of 0910 BST, Ethernity shares had surged 24.62% to 24.30p.
