Director dealings: Superdry CEO splashes out over £1.1m on shares

(Sharecast News) - Faux-Japanese fashion brand Superdry was at the top of the list of director buys on Monday, after its chief executive officer spent more than £1.1m on shares.

The London-listed firm said Julian Dunkerton purchased 805,172 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Friday.

He paid 142.2p per share, spending a total of £1,144,954.62 on the transaction.

Elsewhere, Triad Group disclosed two purchases made by its chairman and a non-executive director.

The company said executive chairman John Rigg bought 200,000 shares for 110p each, spending a total of £0.22m, while non-executive director Charlotte Rigg spent £55,000 on 50,000 shares, also at 110p apiece.

Following the transactions, Triad said its chairman Dr Rigg had a total beneficial interest in 4,794,400 of its shares, representing 28.99% of its current share capital, while Ms Rigg's total interest was in 162,000 shares, representing 0.98% of the company.
