Circassia appoints new non-exec director

(ShareCast News) - Marvin Samson has been appointed as non-executive director of Circassia Pharmaceuticals, the FTSE 250 group said on Tuesday.Samson, the founder and current chief executive of Samson Medical Technologies, currently holds the role of non-executive director at Antares Pharma, Flynn Pharma and NanoPass Technologies and will join the company with immediate effect."We are delighted to welcome Marvin to Circassia," said group chairman Francesco Granata."With his impressive track record founding and growing successful specialty pharmaceutical companies, his experience and expertise will be hugely valuable."Meanwhile, the company confirmed that Paul Edick will retire from his role as non-executive director on 17 May next year.Circassia shares were down 0.32% to 283.10p at 0841 GMT on Wednesday.
