LONDON (Dow Jones)--Chemring Group PLC (CHG.LN) said Tuesday that Peter Hickson will be appointed as an independent non-executive director with effect from July 1, and will succeed Ken Scobie as Chairman of the Board following his retirement on Oct. 1.
