Chemring Group Buys Back 20,000 Ordinary Shares

LONDON (Dow Jones)--U.K. defense company Chemring Group PLC (CHG.LN) said Monday it purchased 20,000 ordinary shares on June 25. MAIN FACTS: -The highest price paid was 3011 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 2990 pence per share. -The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. -Following the above purchase, the company holds a total of 255,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares. -Shares at 0916 GMT up 40 pence or 1.3%, at 3050 pence, valuing the company at GBP1.08 billion. -By Tapan Panchal, Dow Jones Newswires.
