Castleton Technology names new finance director

Castleton Technology, the computer services group formerly known as Redstone, has announced the appointment of Spencer Dredge as its new Finance Director.Peter Hallet, his predecessor, will step down from the company´s board with immediate effect as announced last June.The newly appointed Finance Director recently assisted the group in executing its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) programme.Dredge has over a decade of experience in the technology sector, having held many senior divisional and group finance roles at various UK-based quoted technology companies.His most recent post at Maxima Holdings, the information and technology company, as an assistant consultant, saw him deliver many transactions for both private and public companies. The new role will be a part time position but he has agreed to scale his commitment as might be required. In the mean time Dredge will remain a consultant at Maxima holdings until his role at Castleton becomes full time.As of 12:32 the share price rose 2.96% to 0.70p.WS
