Professional services company Capita won on Tuesday an extension of its seven-year contract with Sheffield City Council.The contract was extended for an extra six years and is expected to generate revenues of between £140m and £170m.Capita will continue to deliver services to the council such as ITC, revenues, benefits, HR and payroll and financial business transactions.Chief executive Andy Parker said: "Capita will work with the council to help it shape services to meet the future needs of citizens in Sheffield and we are committed to making a positive difference for the local community."Shares were down 0.37% to 1088p on Tuesday at 10:22.
