Better Capital chairman buys stake to boost confidence after "disappointing underperformance"

Jonathan Moulton, the chairman and founder of Better Capital, on Wednesday increased his stake in the close-ended investment company, offering a vote of confidence in the business's future.Moulton, who is also the non-executive chairman of broker FinnCap, bought 3.6m shares at 82.85p each. The £2.98m purchase increased his holding to 23.1m shares.Moulton's purchase comes after non-executive chairman Richard Crowder on Friday bought a more modest 60,000 shares in a deal that was made on the same day that the company released its interim results.
