Aquarius Platinum surges after receiving approval to complete Everest Mine sale

(ShareCast News) - Mine developer Aquarius Platinum has received the green light to complete the second part of the sale of its Evererst Mine and processing infrastructure properties in South Africa.The group said its South African subsidiary has agreed a deal to sell the assets to Northam Platinum for an aggregate 450m rand, with the second part of the deal, which involves the sale of the mining right, now unconditional after the local authorities approved Northarm's offer.Aquarius shares were up 5.14% to 7.16p at 1055 BST on Friday.
