(Sharecast News) - Alien Metals said on Friday that its joint venture partner West Coast Silver had identified a new high-priority drill target at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia, following the first use of down hole electromagnetic surveying at the site.

The AIM-traded explorer said the DHEM survey had defined a conductive anomaly located around 50 metres east of the historic Elizabeth Hill mine and at a depth of about 110 metres.

It said the target, represented by a discrete modelled plate, had not previously been drill tested and was considered a compelling prospect for high-grade silver mineralisation.

West Coast Silver planned to immediately drill test the anomaly, with a diamond rig already on site and drilling expected to be completed within the coming week.

The company added that the target aligned with historic drill hole AG54, which intersected two metres at 42 grams of silver per tonne, located around 25 metres up-dip.

The survey marked the first application of electromagnetic techniques at Elizabeth Hill and supported the identification of conductive zones consistent with expected silver mineralisation, based on recent petrophysical studies.

Further surface geophysics work was also underway, while assay results from ongoing reverse circulation and diamond drilling programmes are expected through the second quarter of 2026.

"The geophysical program initiated in February 2026 by WCE in conjunction with ERM and Southern Geosciences Consultants, utilising petrophysical data derived from 2025 drilling has had an immediate impact on the exploration efforts onsite," said West Coast Silver executive chairman Bruce Garlick.

"The team is currently relocating the drill rig to test this shallow anomaly, which if it intersects mineralisation could materially expand the resource potential and have a significant impact on the Elizabeth Hill project."

Alien holds a 30% interest in the Elizabeth Hill project through its joint venture, with West Coast Silver advancing exploration activities.

At 1213 BST, shares in Alien Metals were down 3.7% at 0.13p.
