Technically a good day - SOLG share price up 11% - but shame the spread is 18%, so not much use really...

Nice to see the SOLG share price go up a bit with the placing news! Hope they can turn things around.

Looking at the last few years profit and loss info for Solomon Gold, it seems a bit scary that the current market cap for the company is £12m, and in 2013 the company lost £16m! With the Solomon Gold share price as low as it is at the moment and the bid/ask spread at almost 18%, I think I'm going to give SOLG a miss for the moment. I do usually like these sorts of shares (mining or oil), as they only have to hit a good deposit, or hit oil and the sp can rocket over night. Bit risky for me at the moment!
